What's up in After School....
This years after school Stretch program will be filled with playtime and visitors. Our daily break down is as follows:
-Mondays- Outside and Freeplay
-Tuesdays- Outside and Freeplay
-Wednesdays- Outside and Reading Day and Freeplay
-Thursdays- Outside and Safety Thursdays and Freeplay
-Friday- Outside and Movie Day
The kids get time everyday to run around outside and let out some energy. If it is raining we will be inside the multi-purpose room. If the multi-purpose room is in use we may run around the hallways. If you ever come into our class and find that is empty I will have a sign by the desk informing everyone of our location.
Safety Thursdays has been a big hit with the kids so far. The purpose of this day is to inform the kids of different safety hazards and what they should do if they come upon those hazards. We will be working on fire safety, home safety, stranger danger, and many more things. We will be having special guests from the Alanson Fire Department, Emmet County Sheriffs Departmant, and more!
****Parents please remember to dress your child appropriately. We will be going outside often.****
